My issue is my hardware reserved RAM is too high. It is set to 2.1GB so I can only utilize 5.9GB RAM. I am planning to upgrade the 4GB stick to 8GB to max out 12GB according to what I've read here in the forums. But I am concern if I upgraded to 12GB, the hardware reserved might increase. I've searched a solution but nothing has worked. They say an AMD system made it that way. I want it to be fixed before I will upgrade. Please help me.

I have Acer Swift 3 SF314-41, AMD Ryzen 5 3500U, 4GB soldered RAM, 4GB stick in the sole slot. AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics.
