Hello everyone.

I updated my BIOS to the latest version last week. From that day, I have an ACPI bug in my Debian laptop. When I type 'dmesg' in the console, I see these bugs:

[ 5.788852] ACPI BIOS Error (bug): AE_AML_PACKAGE_LIMIT, Index (0x000000002) is beyond end of object (length 0x2) (20240827/exoparg2-393)
[ 5.788881] ACPI Error: Aborting method _SB.PC00.CNVW.WRDD due to previous error (AE_AML_PACKAGE_LIMIT) (20240827/psparse-529)

Can you help me? Or can I show this problem to Acer, maybe they solve this in the next BIOS version?

The TravelMate P214-53G model Acer bios are not designed for Debian OS its designed for Win-11 and its latest version 24H2 last OS build 26100.3194, that is why you have these bugs. Acer will never ever specifically design a bios for Debian per say as its not the most commonly used OS out there like Win-11 that this laptop is designed to operate under. Good luck and hope this explains why you are having these issues, also get a solution from the Debian forums.
