I was on BIOS settings (I didn't change anything) but I left my laptop unattended and when I came back my laptop was turned off. I don't know how that happened. But when I try to power on my laptop It doesn't power on. When I plug in charger the charger light on the side of my laptop doesn't blink ( usually it blinks red) and I can't seem to turn on my laptop. I tried hard resetting the laptop by holding down power key for 60 seconds. Please help.

    A Hard Reset is NOT holding down the power key for 60 seconds! What is the model of your laptop e.g. Aspire is a A515-xx or A315-xx etc etc.

    Do this type of a hard Reset and see if the laptop boots;

    Hard Reset - Remove the lower case cover then disconnect the main battery cable from the MB and take the main battery out, then disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery and then short the batteries + & - pins mobo plug to reset CMOS, then remove all the ram. Leave the laptop like that for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight) and then reconnect everything, if you have 2x ram modules, only connect 1x ram module and alternate the two ram modules and see if it’s not the ram that is faulty, as the laptop should turn on and boot properly. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
