VI wanted to ask if it's normal that after it's in standby and I do a search, the Google search isn't performed/or takes a while. This usually happens when you first turn it on. Or when it is in standby.

It's not uncommon for laptops to experience a delay when waking from standby or sleep mode, especially when performing tasks like a Google search. Here are a few reasons why this might happen and some steps you can take to improve the situation:

System Wake-Up Time: When a laptop wakes from standby, it takes a few moments to reinitialize all hardware components and restore the system state. This can cause a brief delay in performing tasks.

Background Processes: After waking up, your laptop might be running background processes or updates, which can temporarily slow down performance.

Power Settings: Adjusting your power settings can help improve wake-up performance:
Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options.
Select your current power plan and click on "Change plan settings".
Click on "Change advanced power settings" and adjust settings like "Allow wake timers".
Driver Updates: Ensure all your drivers, especially for the graphics and network adapters, are up to date. Outdated drivers can cause performance issues when waking from standby1.

Disable Hibernation: Disabling hibernation can sometimes improve wake-up times:
Press Windows + X and select "Command Prompt (Admin)".
Type powercfg /h off and press Enter1.
Run Power Troubleshooter: Use the built-in Windows troubleshooter to identify and fix power-related issues:

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
Select "Power" and run the troubleshooter.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, it might be worth checking with Acer support for further assistance.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

It did it again, I noticed it does it when the computer is in standby a lot. Or the first time you turn it on, I don't know if it's normal. Any other advice? Also because I noticed that if I wait a few seconds without doing any search, it works fine.
