Hello,

Is anyone else experiencing the update function that seems to be stuck indefinitely?

I have re-installed the application, but the issue persists. All other functions work fine. I just need to see all the updates available for my Aspire3 from this app version 4003056.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Brian

    Hi Brian,
I don't recommend using Acer care Center for anything, the app is poorly written hangs in Windows11 and interferes with Windows Update, I don't know what PC or Windows version you are using but you don't need Acer care. The later Acer Sense program is better as long as yoy don't use the 80% Battery charge limiter and other battery monitoring/optimizing options. To receive the latest updates tested by Acer enable Optional Updates in Windows Check for updates-Advanced settings.

Thank you very much. Therefore, it may be better to uninstall this app since I also have Acersense. To resolve the 80 percent battery limit, I can always do it manually by halting the charger when it reaches 80.

I will follow your advice for the updates as well.

    Best regards,

    Brian

One last thing, please. Can you recommend any free software to safely remove remnants from uninstalled software? For example, some files remaining, like AcerCCAgent, are not allowing me to delete them.
