BIOS-is password restricted. I don't have password, unable to get into bios. what can I do?

bios is password restricted. I don't have password, tried disconnecting CMOS, left it overnight to make sure power was drained. refitted CMOS battery etc. still CMOS not reset. stuck with no password and unable to get into bios. what can I do?

    If removing the CMOS battery didn’t reset the BIOS password, try these options: Check your motherboard manual for a reset jumper (usually labeled CLR_CMOS or JBAT1) and follow the steps to reset it. If that doesn’t work, some laptops or OEM PCs require a master password from the manufacturer, so contacting their support might help. Another option is checking if BIOS update tools from the manufacturer can reset the password. If all else fails, a professional technician might be needed.

    Take your PC to Acer service center and get their techs to unlock the bios, we can't instruct or advise you on any password hacks on this community, as its one of the communities EULA rules. Good luck.
