So I have an Acer nitro anv16-71. I have it for around three months and a few days ago it started doing problems with the Wi Fi connection it would randomly disconnect and then dont connect to any wi-fi. The only way to connect is to give it ethernet through cable from my phone. I tried disabling the Wi-Fi module but it doesn't work. Then it randomly connects in very late hours and when I need it at the afternoon for example it doesn't connect.

When it connects to my router it says connected no internet but when I look into my routers software it doesn't even show the laptop. In the log I can see that it had connected but just for 70 to 80 seconds.

Please help!!

This should not be happening to a 3 months old ANV6-71 laptop, try to refresh the Wi-Fi driver in Device manager and see if that fixes the problem or completely uninstall the driver and reinstall the oem ANV6-71 WLAN driver for the card that you have.

If all the above doesn't help, send your Nitro ANV6-71 to Acer Tech Support and get the Acer techs to fix this problem. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

WI-FI Driver Refresh > Go to > Device Manager > Network adapters > select either the Intel AX201 or the MTK MT7921 card (which ever you have) > right click the card and click Properties > Driver > Update Driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer > and then pick the last and most recent dated Wi-Fi driver that is in that list, and reinstall that driver, as afterwards your Wi-Fi should work.

I have seen this problem randomly on some laptops with Windows 11. Are you on Windows 10 or 11. Try reverting to an older driver. Or remove windows 11 driver for the module and add a windows 10 driver and see if that helps.

Hi, IMO it may be the internet link quality and/or your router, check the router setup and internet plan, check with your ISP/phone company if there is maintenance going on in your area. Check the battery in the mobile router.

You know, this issue I have noticed on multiple laptops, some as new as 2022 and later, when they moved from 10 to 11. My Acer Swift 5 too is one such causality. I moved to 11 after using 10 for like 4 years with no issues and instantly started seeing wifi issues. the adapter goes off after a short while. only way to get it back it to remove and do a hardware scan to add it again.

Again, I am not telling this to undermine you, but just saying that 11 is causing hardware issues in many.

And you know the best part? I have external SSDs that are bitlocker encrypted - of these two are exactly the same make and model and bitlocker encrypted using the same mode. When I put these into windows 11 only one works. the other says "unformatted". But when i place these into 10, they work flawless.

Hi, I too have several laptops, 2 HPs (2007/2010), 3 Acers (2020-2023) and 1 Asus (2023), used Vista, W7-W11 and lately have W11 24H2, never ever had laptop/network adapter Wi-Fi internet issues but experienced many Internet problems over the past 18 years as I live remotely in the country (Philippines). It is always the internet provider and/or the (prepaid) router causing interruptions. Keeping my routers up to date, getting the latest SIM card versions, getting a better unlimited internet plan and staying in touch with PLDT/Smart customer support solved it. When I am in town (5G) the same, always the link causing interruptions or high latency never the network adapter or Windows setup.
