I am planning on 16gb RAM upgrade on my Acer nitro V anv15-41-R2MO currently having 8gb ram (24gb total RAM), will it work normally? will the 16gb upgrade will be worth it or will it just be going to waste its performance?

Upgrading your Acer Nitro from 8GB to 24GB of RAM can be a good idea, depending on your usage. If you frequently use applications that demand more memory or plan to do so in the future, upgrading to 24GB can be a worthwhile investment.

    Here's few compatible 8 & 16 GB memory modules.

is it okay to match my 4800 to 5600?

Mixing RAM modules with different speeds, such as 4800 MHz and 5600 MHz, is generally possible, but your system will run all the RAM at the speed of the slowest module, which is 4800 MHz in this case. While many systems handle mixed speeds well, it can sometimes lead to instability, such as crashes or boot failures.

The performance gain from mixing RAM speeds might not be significant, as the faster module will be downclocked to match the slower one. If you need the higher speed for specific applications, it might be better to use matching modules.

It's generally not a good idea to mix RAM modules with different speeds, like 4800 MHz and 5600 MHz. Doing so will usually make the system run all the RAM at the slower speed (4800 MHz in this case), which can cause stability issues and might not give you the best performance. For the best results, use RAM modules with the same speed, capacity, and timings. So, if you're upgrading your RAM, it's better to get another 16 GB module with the same speed (4800 MHz) as your current one.

You should install an 8GB stick (total 16GB) or two 16GB (total 32GB) to get better performance than the 8+16GB combination. That combination will just run a half dual-channel on the 16GB stick.

Your Nitro ANV15-41 ram speed is governed by its cpu type and AMD specs, if your ANV15-41 has the lower spec AMD Ryzen™ 5 7535HS max memory is 64GB @ Max Memory Speed
of DDR5-4800 or if your ANV15-41 has the higher spec AMD Ryzen™ 7 7735HS cpu its max memory is @ DDR5-4800mT/s also.

So if you want the full capacity ram of 64GB, 32GB and 16GB upgrades, see the Crucial ram guide for the ANV15-41 laptop. Good luck and hope this helps you out some more.

This the 2x 32GB modules Crucial recommends for the 64GB max ram upgrade:

    Crucial 64GB Kit (32GBx2) DDR5-4800 SODIMM

    • CT2K32G48C40S5
    • Configuration ID: CT25511304

    DDR5-4800 • CL=40 • Non-ECC • SODIMM • 262-pins • 1.1V • 2Rx8 based • PC5-38400
