Acer Predator PH517-51 Cracked Lid and Frame - Will Epoxy or a Clamp help fix the damage?

The metal strips on either side of the frame have snapped, creating a pressure point when the lid is open or closed. It's led to the front frame and back lid cracking rather severely. I've posted pictures of one side as an example, but the other side is also damaged. (The beige substance you see is adhesive from duct tape.)

It's an Acer Predator PH517-51. It was purchased in the spring of 2019, so I'm assuming it's long out of warranty. I brought it in to a computer repair store but the tech didn't have any ideas short of replacing all the relevant parts, and he couldn't find those parts online. So I'm turning to you fine people. Would a clamp work? Would a metal epoxy hold, or will it be affected by temperatures? This is uncharted territory for me, so any help would be appreciated.

You can use Hot Glue, by taking the hinge screws out of the LCD cover and then using hot glue to glue the hinge with the screws screwed into the broken LCD cover to sort of reinforce and sandwich the whole thing together, you also need to clip this down until the glue dries. This is not a permanent fix but a temporary fix, especially in hotter climates where the hot glue seems to melt at temps above 30c and loses its bond.

The best and most permanent fix is to change the LCD cover of your Predator PH517-51 laptop and see if you can still buy the oem LCD Cover below, and swap the camera/mic, WLAN two wires and screen onto the new LCD cover, as that is the best and most permanent solution to your problem. Good luck.

Optional is the bezel if its broken
