Changing the display language doesn't change the language in the settings menu.

I recently bought an Acer laptop in Spain so the Windows 11 setup was all in Spanish. Now when I change the display language to any other language, everything in the settings menu, along with a few other things, stays in Spanish. I have Windows 11 Home and don't understand why I can't change everything to English. Is there any way to change this?

1. Open the Settings app and go to “Time & Language” > “Language”.
2. Under “Preferred languages”, ensure that English (United States) is at the top of the list.
3. Click on “Options” next to English (United States).
4. Make sure that “Set as my Windows display language” is turned on.
5. If it’s not already installed, click on “Download” under “Speech”.
6. Restart your computer.

If that doesn’t work, open the Command Prompt as an administrator and enter the following command: "DISM /Online /Set-DefaultUILanguage:en-US". This should set the system display language to English (US) and override any incorrect language settings.

First change the system locale by going to Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region > Administrative Language Settings > Change System Locale. Check the box for Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support and click OK. Uncheck language preferences in the same section by unchecking Remember my preferences and clicking OK. Restart your computer to apply the changes. Verify that your region settings match your language preferences by going to Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region.
