Predator Orion 3000 won’t connect to my monitor

Yesterday my PC wouldn’t shut down every time I would click it it would act like I didn’t I closed all of the apps and still nothing so I shut it down from the button on the pc.

Today my PC turns on but on my monitor is a black screen and the mouse icon is a loading circle. My PlayStation is connected to the same monitor by HDMI, PC by DP, and works perfectly fine. I have tried to turn it on by safe mode through the bios screen but it says that I don’t even have a safe mode to do it. I have switched the DP cable with the PlayStation HDMI that I know works and it’s still the same thing.

Help me please

Press and hold the power button for about 10-15 seconds to force your PC to shut down. Wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.

Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.) and restart your PC. Sometimes, external devices can cause startup issues.

To boot into Safe Mode, you'll need to interrupt the boot process a few times. Start by turning on your PC and, as soon as Windows begins to load, turn it off again. Repeat this process 2-3 times until you see the "Preparing Automatic Repair" screen. Once you're in the recovery environment, select "Troubleshoot," then "Advanced options," followed by "Startup Settings," and finally "Restart." After your PC restarts, press F4 to boot into Safe Mode. This process can help you diagnose and fix issues that might be preventing your PC from starting up normally.

To run Startup Repair, if you can access the recovery environment, select "Troubleshoot," then "Advanced options," and finally "Startup Repair." Follow the on-screen instructions to let Windows attempt to fix the startup issues. This process can help resolve problems that are preventing your PC from starting up correctly.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

If your are able to get into windows with the above steps, then proceed with the below steps as needed.

To check for software issues, you can try using System Restore or uninstalling recent updates. If you have a restore point, you can restore your system to a previous state by going to "Troubleshoot," then "Advanced options," and selecting "System Restore." Follow the prompts to complete the process. Alternatively, you can uninstall recent updates that might be causing the issue. In the recovery environment, go to "Troubleshoot," then "Advanced options," and select "Uninstall Updates." This will allow you to remove any recent updates that might be causing the problem. Both methods can help resolve software-related issues that are preventing your PC from starting up correctly.

To update drivers, if you can boot into Safe Mode, you should update your graphics drivers. Start by opening Device Manager, then find your display adapter. Right-click on it and select "Update driver." This process can help ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date, which may resolve any display issues you're experiencing.

To check for hardware issues, start with your RAM. If you have multiple RAM sticks, try removing one and see if the issue persists. If it does, swap the RAM sticks and try again. This can help identify if a faulty RAM stick is causing the problem. Next, check the health of your hard drive using a tool like CrystalDiskInfo. This tool can provide valuable information about the condition of your hard drive and help determine if it's contributing to the issues you're experiencing.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, it might be best to contact a professional technician or the PC Acer support for further assistance Acer Support

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

Because you are seeing the loading circle on your screen, it's not a problem with the monitor itself, but a problem with Windows loading. I expect you do see the splash screen when it's first turning on, as well as the prompt to enter the BIOS. Which PO3 model do you have? Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like PO3-xxx-xxxx. Which OS is on it? Which version of the OS (if known)? Are you booting from a SSD or HDD? Likely your next step will be to boot from a Windows install flash drive to get into the Repair mode, where you can look at the drive and potentially repair the OS. It also could be a failing drive, in which case you will need to replace that.
