Acer Nitro AN515-58 overheating issues while idling and gaming

My acer nitro is overheating like crazy. It even reached like constant 100 degrees celcius when playing elden ring (60 fps) and 70+ degrees just for a casual game like balatro. When idling it reaches like 50-65 degrees celcius (i'm using the balanced power option) and it's really frustrating. The only method that works for me to actually lowering the temperature is changing the power plan to power saver mode but it made the game completely unplayable (like elden ring at 20-30 fps). Can someone give me some advice on how to solve this problem. I literally tried everything but nothing works (like changing the maximum performance capability in advanced power plan, disabling core 0, etc). I believe the fan or the thermal paste are not the problems because i literally just went to the service to clean the laptop and redo the thermal paste like 2 months ago. I know i'm not the only one experiencing this guys please helpp

Hi, leave the Power Plan on Balanced but set the Power Mode in Power & Battery settings in Windows to "Best Power Efficiency" that won't affect the performance and will keep the system cooler.

There is freeware for undervolting like Throttle Stop and for the dGPU there is MSI Afterburner you can try. Alternatively, you can reduce the Maximum Power State for the Processor from 100 to 95% in Advanced Power Plan settings:

Ensure your laptop is on a hard, flat surface to allow proper ventilation, and consider using a cooling pad to help dissipate heat. Regularly clean the vents and fans with compressed air to remove any dust that might be blocking airflow. Adjusting power settings can also help; choosing a balanced or power saver plan in Windows power options can reduce heat generation. Additionally, use Task Manager to close any non-essential background processes that may be consuming CPU resources.

It's important to keep your drivers and BIOS up to date, as updates often include improvements to thermal management. Reducing the voltage supplied to the CPU can help lower temperatures without significantly impacting performance.

The laptop is heating up because most probably the its running on at its full speed with no power saving turned on when plugged. Its also charging the batteries which can also cause the laptop to heat up. Just make sure to check the vents of your laptop if there's hot air coming out.
It is quite normal for the laptop to heat up, since the internal electronic components may generate heat while the laptop runs, especially during power-intensive operations such as charging, updating, gaming, etc. If you have an air-conditioned room, preferably use the laptop in there. If the room is not air conditioned, make use of a ceiling or table fan along with a laptop cooling pad. Laptop cooling pads have fans in them which help flow cool air keeping your laptop cool all time.
