Hello,

I recently purchased the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58, and I believe the laptop is overheating. The CPU temperature reaches up to 92°C, and increasing the fan speed does not make a significant difference.

Have you experienced this issue, and if so, how did you solve it?

Hi, use "Best Power Efficiency" mode in Power & Battery settings to mitigate your "overheating" concern:

The laptop is heating up because most probably the its running on at its full speed with no power saving turned on when plugged. Its also charging the batteries which can also cause the laptop to heat up. Just make sure to check the vents of your laptop if there's hot air coming out.
It is quite normal for the laptop to heat up, since the internal electronic components may generate heat while the laptop runs, especially during power-intensive operations such as charging, updating, gaming, etc. If you have an air-conditioned room, preferably use the laptop in there. If the room is not air conditioned, make use of a ceiling or table fan along with a laptop cooling pad. Laptop cooling pads have fans in them which help flow cool air keeping your laptop cool all time.
