Intel Application optimization for my Predator PH18-72. Should I just get rid of it?

My Predator PH18-72 has the intel application optimation app installed by Acer on the factory image. I googled it and apparently its designed to improve performance in some games. I decided to run it today and its says it requires an update from my OEM . I get rid of the message and it doesn't find any games to optimise. I can't see the application available on Acers driver/download page and Intels website conflicting statement says only available through windows store, which doesn't offer an update. When I close down the app it crashes every time. Should I just get rid of it if I can't update it? Really don't know why Acer installs it on the factory image

Hi, I don't recommend installing or using bloatware, none of it is needed as Windows11 WU will do all the updating and if you have Optional updates in Advanced "Check for updates" enabled you will receive drivers tested by Acer even before they appear on the Acer Support site. 3rd-party bloatware can permanently reside in the Windows registry monitoring and interfering with Windows, clogging your network with telemetry (Cloud) and slow down performance. Don't use CCleaner and the like to uninstall bloatware as that will only aggravate the problems with the Windows registry. Browse MS endorsed sites like Elevenforum how to best uninstall rogue bloatware and 3rd party browsers-virus checkers.

Advertising and pre-installing programs are helping vendors to keep their products compatible, without it your laptop would cost a lot more.
