Hello everyone. Recently, I started getting blue screens, here's my laptop specs:
AMD Risen 7 6800H
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU (8 GB)
Microsoft Windows 11
System memory - 15557 МБ
In more detail, more than a year and a half ago I bought myself a laptop running on windows 11. After a few days, there were blue screens and an extended screen and lag. I changed to windows 10 and everything worked until the beginning of this year. Starting this year, there were blue screens and various errors:
irql_not_less_or_equal
hypervisor_error
clock_watchdog_timeout
system service exception
Moreover, these errors are random and randomly appear. Maybe someone had a similar situation and if they could solve it, how?

Change the OS to Win-11 24H2 then update to OS build: 26100.3194, install all the latest bios and firmwares available for your klatop and also the last NVidia graphics driver and geforce Experience software and play all supported games through that NVidia softwre, do this first, as you latop is designed for win-11 NOT Win-10!

The Clock Watchdog Timeout Error Occur because of the following factors:

    • Excessively overclocking the RAM, CPU, or other system components.
    • Outdated or corrupt system drivers.
    • A loosely connected system component or cables.
    • Faulty or damaged system components.

To fix this error look at this guide here or check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files, that provides any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes.

    • Open Windows File Explorer.
    • Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump
    • Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up.
    • Upload the file to the forum so that we can look at it

I think this problem is related to the processor, given that the errors are random. These errors:

    irql_not_less_or_equal

    hypervisor_error

    clock_watchdog_timeout

    system service exception

If its the cpu the laptop will not turn on as if its a gpu the laptop turn on and works off the cpu graphics. Take your laptop to a technician and get them to analyze your laptop and pinpoint the exact fault. Good luck.

CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT error is a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error that occurs in Windows systems. It usually indicates a problem with the processor or CPU.

In addition to checking for updates and memory diagnostics, you can take the following steps to troubleshoot and resolve this error:

    1.Check Hardware Connections:

Ensure that all hardware components (CPU, RAM, GPU, etc.) are properly seated in their respective slots.

    Re-seat the CPU if necessary.

    2.Update Drivers:

Outdated or incompatible drivers can cause this error. Update your chipset drivers, graphics drivers, and other relevant drivers.

Use Windows Update to check for driver updates.

    3.Check for Overheating:

Overheating can lead to system instability. Monitor your CPU temperature using tools like HWMonitor or Core Temp.

Clean the CPU cooler and ensure proper airflow within the case.

    4.BIOS Update:

Update your motherboard’s BIOS to the latest version. Check the manufacturer’s website for instructions.

    5.Check for Hardware Issues:

Test your CPU using tools like Prime95 or Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool.

    6.Check Power Supply Unit (PSU):

A faulty PSU can cause instability. Make sure your PSU is functioning correctly.

    Consider replacing it if necessary.

    7.Disable Overclocking:

If you’ve overclocked your CPU, revert to default clock speeds and see if the error persists.

    8.Check for Malware:

Run a full system scan using Windows Defender or a reliable third-party antivirus program.

    9.Check Event Viewer:

Open Event Viewer and look for any critical or error events related to the CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT.
