I have acer nitro an16-41 r1pr laptop. The device does not turn on and remains on a black screen. The BIOS is probably corrupted. I can enter BIOS reset using FN + ESC to reset via USB. Acer has published two BIOS files for my device model. ZGU2r.fd and ZGUr.fd. Which one should I use and what should I call it?

The Acer Nitro 5 AN515-41 R1PR BIOS update is installed using the .exe file. You download the update from Acer's official support page, run the .exe file, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update process. Flashing BIOS with a USB stick is not recommended as this can brick the laptop. If you can no longer boot to Windows, I recommend bringing the laptop to Acer Services in your country to reprogram the EEPROM for a small service fee.

SWindows doesn't explain it in any way right now. I wanted to ask because I saw people on the internet who recover BIOS with a flash drive. And I opened the computer to remove the cmos battery. Is it still under warranty?

If your computer does not have the warranty sticker on the bottom cover, it is not void from opening it. You can take it to the service center right away if the laptop is still in warranty period.

Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

A Today I was able to successfully perform a BIOS Recovery via USB. The fan speed of the device increased and eventually it shut itself down with a single short beep. Normally, I should have entered the BIOS by pressing the F2 key, but I did not realize that I had succeeded and so I did the BIOS recovery again.
