We bought a CB272 monitor last week with a built-in webcam so my wife could do an online interview. The resolution of the camera is terrible. We had an extra light in the office, but the image was so low resolution that you could hardly see when my wife was talking. We have connected it up correctly (as per the instructions), but I can't find any information on what resolution the camera is, apart from it is FHD. If FHD stands for Full High Definition, it isn't!

We are running Windows 11 Home version and have tried it via Teams and Zoom, but they both show a terrible picture.

Thanks in advance

    Good afternoon.
Have you been able to change the resolution of your webcam using the Camera app in Windows 11?

Let's see if we can improve the situation.

The Acer CB272 monitor does indeed have a Full HD (FHD) webcam, which should provide a resolution of 1920x1080.

However, there are a few things you can try to enhance the image quality:

Check USB Connection: Ensure the USB cable connecting the monitor to your computer is securely plugged in at both ends. The webcam relies on this connection to function properly2.

Update Drivers: Visit the Acer support website to download and install the latest drivers for your monitor's webcam. This can often resolve compatibility and performance issues2.

Adjust Camera Settings: In Windows 11, you can manage and adjust camera settings. Go to Start > type "manage cameras" > select Manage cameras from the results. Here, you can preview the camera and adjust settings like brightness, contrast, and sharpness3.

Lighting: Even with an extra light, the positioning and type of light can make a big difference. Ensure the light source is facing your wife and not behind her to avoid backlighting issues.

Test with Different Apps: Sometimes, the issue might be specific to certain applications. Try using the Windows Camera app to see if the quality is better there. If it is, the problem might be
