i7-12650H, 3070ti and 165hz (1440p)

As i was playing a game on my laptop recently, it crashed and after a reboot, there were white horizontal lines all over the display, it would go as there was a movement in the screen (around the movement) and then come back if there are major movements, My warranty had just ended 2 days before this issue, the issue is only there when im using the dedicated GPU mode, the IGPU is fine, which makes me think that it isnt a display problem, and in the device manager, there is error 43 for the 3070ti.. The issue starts as soon as the laptop turns on, even in the acer logo screen, but its not there in the bios..

I tried reinstalling windows, the drivers, different versions, still no hopes, what can i do about it now, what are my options

    Try a power reset.

To reset your Acer laptop using the pinhole reset method, first turn off your laptop and unplug the charger. Locate the pinhole reset button on the bottom of your laptop, usually marked with a battery icon. Insert a small paperclip or similar object into the pinhole and press gently for about 4-5 seconds. Release the button, wait a few seconds, then plug in the charger and turn on your laptop. This process helps to reset the internal battery and can resolve various issues.

Then try to disable and enable the integrated GPU.

To enable/disable the Discrete GPU only mode in NitroSense, open the NitroSense application and click on the Settings icon in the upper right corner. Select the "Discrete GPU only" option and move the slider to the right to enable it. After making this change, close the NitroSense application and restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

To enable/disable the Discrete GPU only mode in the CMOS Setup, power off your computer completely by holding the power key down for 5 seconds. Power it back on and press the F2 key as soon as the Acer logo appears to enter the CMOS setup. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the Advanced tab, then select the Display mode and change it from Optimus to Discrete GPU only. Finally, go to the Exit tab and select "Exit Saving Changes" to apply the new settings.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

You can try performing a power reset by holding down the power button for a minute, updating the BIOS via the Acer support website, Since the issue occurs in dedicated GPU mode, it might be a hardware problem with the GPU. If possible, try connecting the laptop to an external monitor to see if the issue persists.

I tried disconnecting the battery and then pressing the power button for a while(around a min or two), that did not help with the issue.. The problem started almost a week after the warranty ended :(

I'll try the pinhole reset thingy now, i hope it works, fingerscrossed..
