I have a system stats overlay that only pops up in game in the upper left-hand corner. It's annoying and I am trying to disable it but can't find the place to do it. I am using a Predator ptn16-51 laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi, that's not Windows or Acer Predator Sense but the gaming program generating the popup, check the settings in the game if there is an option to turn off notifications.

Hi Puraw, It's popped up on a few different games, all launched by different launchers (steam, FF14, Blizzard, etc) and it's still the same overlay. I checked to make sure that no "game stats" or anything like that are displayed in those launchers and checked the games themselves and still can't find what is causing it. I saw an earlier post saying it might be predator sense and I was looking for a "system monitoring" section in the settings and to disable "background statistics" but I can't find any such setting.

I found the answer, it turns out it was the Razer Cortex application. There is an option in Settings > Hotkeys that is in the "In-Game" section. It's the "Custom Display" hotkey and which is set to ctrl + shift + Q by default. Hitting that should disable the overlay, at least it did for me. Hope this helps any future users experiencing this issue. Thank you for everyone who took the time to look at this and try and help.
