how do you replace audio port on acer predator on G3 710?

i accidentally stepped on my headphones wire recently and unfortunately it broke the audio port and my headphones as well so i need to replace it.

im trying to remove the front case so i can get to the audio port but idk how. i would appreciate any help on this issue. tysm!! :)

The cable will likely not help. Here are the procedures:

From there you should be able to see how the audio jack is mounted to a little daughter card so you can replace it if needed. It looks like Acer didn't sell the little card separately from the metal cage:

If there is no damage to the internal wiring (short) consider a good USB headset, either wired or BT, they work equally well.

hi puraw, thanks a million for your help. im not sure if there's damage to the internal wiring as there is like a cage around it but i ordered a new part for my pc.
