A Nitro 5 laptop was purchased during 2021 for use at university by my son. From the start it had issues with Bluetooth and some evidence of data transfer corruption. The system was submitted to two companies and one specialist to look at, one being Microsoft. All pointed to the faults relating to a hardware issue. This could be either a memory or bus issue but with Bluetooth also not working it could be a badly soldered motherboard. Has anyone who has had these issues found out what is the cause of such issues? Thanks.

If you're still experiencing problems, try this solution: update the BIOS. This can be a bit tricky if your BIOS version is already the newest one. First, download the latest BIOS for the Acer AN515-54 from the BIOS/Firmware tab on the Acer support site, AN515-54 download

Download the latest BIOS (the one at the top), then run the update tool. Typically, you just need to run it, and after the BIOS update, it should fix the Bluetooth problem. Note that this process might break any EFI file boot menu entries you added yourself. I encountered a couple of issues, but they can be easily fixed.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
