My Swift 3 (SF314-54) Keeps locking automatically. I have checked all the lock and sleep mode settings, and they seem fine. The laptop doesn't overheat as it sits on a cooling fan stand.

Hi, if you get the Lock Screen when >1 minute idle (unattended) you have to change the Advanced Power settings and Power mode in Power & Battery settings (see picture), if the screens turn off or the system crashes or freezes in the middle of a program running there may be a (power) conflict in the registry, a bad driver/system file or a rogue program/malware. This model is from early 2019 and if after 5 years the battery was never replaced, I recommend doing that first: New Laptop Battery for ACER Swift3 SF313-51 SF314-54G-56-55 N15W8 N16P5 N16PS MS2393 AC14B7K A315-53series - AliExpress 7

Thank you for your response. I will replace that battery and see if it helps.

    Does the screen turn off?

@AnhEZ28 yes, it does. It shows the locking words with dots rotating in circles and then shuts down. I then have to press either the enter or power button for the laptop keyboard to light up with some fan noises, it goes dark after a few minutes and shuts down again. This happens a few times before the lock screen shows for me to input my password.

It could be shutting down due to low battery if you are using the laptop on battery power.
