What are suitable GPU upgrades to the Aspire TC-281..any size or power limitations?

Considering upgrading Aspire TC-281 (with on-board graphics) with the addition of a GPU. The available data on thee TC-281 is not clear about the slot on the motherboard, however, it appears to be a PCIe x16. Is this the case and please suggest suitable GPUs that will 1-fit inside the case, and 2- not overload the existing 300 watt power supply.

Thanks,

John

The aspire TC-281 has a socket AM4 AMD A8 9600 type cpu with an AMD B380 chipset board and Acer fitted this desktop with an NVidia GT720 DDR3 2GB GPU, the TC-128 mainboard has a 24 pin main ATX power plug that Acer powers this desktop with their proprietary PSUs of either a 220W or a 300W power PSU.

Due to the TC-128 having a 24pin main power ATX power plug board, you can easily upgrade its PSU to the new and current modular PSUs on the market but you need to make sure that the new PSU will fit into the TC-128 case and its the same size.

Measure your TC-128 PSU and look on the web for a new 24pin modular PSU that is the same size and the wattage that you need t=for a new RTX3060 gpu which will be more than an adequate GPU for this desktop, With a GPU upgrade you need to make sure that its integrates with the cpu and ram performance for best performance, as there is one particular GPU that is best as some of the top spec GPUs will make no performance increase. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Acer oem fitted PSUs for the Aspire TC-128 desktop.
