Predator Orion 3000 PO3-655-BIOS doesn't detect second SSD M.2 slot-Samsung 970 EVO Plus-

Tinkerer
Hi!
I had a brand-new Samsung 970 EVO Plus lying around for a while, and I decided to install it in the second M.2 slot. However, the BIOS doesn't detect it.

-Check M.2 slot configuration in bios it may be disabled by default.
-Re-seat the SSD: Power down your PC, remove the SSD, and reinsert it securely to ensure proper contact with the slot.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I checked the BIOS again, but I couldn't find any options to enable or disable it. It's pretty basic. Reinstalling also didn’t make any difference.

Both of your M.2 SSD slots support NVMe 4.0 x4 and the BIOS should show them both under the Advanced; Integrated Peripherals section. If I were to guess I'd think the new one either doesn't have the screw fully seated or it's twisted slightly in the socket.

Hi. I tried installing the SSD a few more times and tightened it even more. I also checked that the bottom nut is fully tightened. But none of this helped.
Additionally, I found out that the RAM is running at 4400 MHz, even though it's rated for 5600 MHz.
Is there a way to find the pinout for the F.panel, or is it standard? And how do I remove the front and top panels without breaking anything?

That is normal for the memory, they used 5600 memory due to availability and pricing, even though it runs at the speeds the chipset supports.
When booted to Windows, does Disk Management see the second drive?

I thought about it, but I decided not to touch it. Let it at least work as it is.
Neither Disk Management nor Samsung Magician detect the drive. I ordered an external USB enclosure for M.2 and will try updating the firmware through it.
