Model: Acer Predator PH315-53
Windows version: 10

Problem: Very specific keys on the laptop keyboard are not working properly. They may register late, too many inputs at once, or will stop working all together. Sometimes for a while they work just fine. It is random when this happens, but it is frequent.

Affected keys (as far as I can tell) : "2 4 5 7" (both num pad and top row) "Backspace k o \ Shift"

I've tried restarting my laptop, updating windows, updating the drivers, uninstalling the drivers, troubleshooting the keyboard, performing a clean boot, and performing a system restore. None of these worked.

I wasn't doing anything that I don't normally do with my laptop when this problem started. I was only playing a game on Steam when I notice some inputs weren't working.

I have a spare keyboard replacement that was kept away for a while. I could replace it in case it is direly needed. I don't want to resort to a repair unless there is another fix I can have recommended before doing so. (I've only came across one video on how to replace the keyboard, but I'm hesitant to do it myself. I've had the laptop for about 4 years and I think the warranty is passed).
