Is the 128gb SSD of the old laptop (a515-43-r19l) compatible for 2nd slot in sfg14-73t the new one?

so, I have a new sfg14-73t arriving today to replace my trusty old acer a515-43-r19l. I'm wondering if I could take the 128gb SSD out of the old laptop and put it in the 2nd slot in the new laptop, which would make transferring stuff much easier. crucial gives me this info about the a515's SSD specs: Crucial P310 500GB PCIe Gen4 NV Me 2280 M.2 SSD.
I know that's not the same type as what's in the 73t, but will it work for my intended use or cause problems? (And if it's okay, will having the operating system on it, etc., be an issue? I just want to transfer files.)

Yes, you can use the 128GB SSD from your old Acer A515-43 in the second M.2 slot of your new Swift Go SFG14-73T. Both M.2 slots in the Acer Swift Go 14 (SFG14-73T) are PCIe Gen 4 NVMe slots. This means your Crucial P310 SSD will be fully compatible and operate at its native Gen 4 speeds in the second slot.
The SSD will work perfectly for transferring files and can be used as additional storage without any significant problems.
The SSD should work fine for file transfer without causing significant boot problems even if Windows is installed on it, especially if BIOS boot priority is correctly configured. So, double-check before turning on your laptop that boot priority is not given to the 128GB SSD. Although it should not switch automatically.. Later on you can make this SSD as a primary main windows disk if you want.
