OS is on 132 and fully updated. Chromebook is about 1 week old at this point which is super frustrating.

When it happens a key I am typing will act as if I am holding it down then a force reboot occurs. Alternatelg sometimes the reboot occurs while it's asleep and I open my laptop to a fresh login with session recovery.

This acts like an unstable system, unplug all peripherals and check the USB-C charger connection, if the port is damaged or AC cable/plug of the charger is not fully inserted. Try a different grounded wall outlet, avoid plug adapters, extension cords and multi power panels. If still issues reset the CB: Power down, press and hold the reset button for 15-30 seconds, release and wait 15-30 minutes, reconnect the power adapter and wait for a full battery indication, then turn it on.

That is not the case it is a new unit, and several other customers across reddit and other platforms are reporting the same behavior on this model and the 516GE. There needs to be an answer ACER!

I have exactly the same problem. It's really annoying and I can no longer work properly with my Chromebook. My device is also fairly new, has all updates and the device's self-diagnosis shows no problems.

It would be cool if acer took care of this.
