2 days ago, in the morning I went to play my game and noticed that the fps dropped sharply from 200 to 30. I became very worried and decided to go to the NitroSense program and saw that the processor was running at 4 GHz and heated up to a crazy 92 degrees at the moment. I'll tell you right away, no matter what you write, the problem is not in the virus, the problem is at the hardware or software level. I explain this by the fact that I have already reinstalled Windows a couple of times, tried 10 and 11 and nothing changes, I have no idea what to do, so I am writing here. My laptop is ANV15-41 Please help as soon as possible, the laptop is new, it is not even 2 months old.

Hi, start with updating BIOS to a brand-new version 1.13 dated 2025/01/23 and check for updates in Windows; enable Optional Updates in Advanced settings as there may be Intel driver updates available. Turn off Turbo Boost and change the Power mode in Power & Battery settings to "Best Power Efficiency". Open Task Manager-Processes tab and check your background apps that are running, if more than 80 you need to uninstall all bloatware, 3rd-party browsers, virus checkers and pre-installed trial versions, also stop the syncing in Windows as programs may be backing up to Cloud.

Hi, I was still editing my comment, read again. Check in that new BIOS Advanced tab (press Ctrl +S) for a setting called AMD Precision Boost or something similar, if no option in BIOS you can reduce, in the Processor power management section, the Maximum processor state to a lower percentage (e.g., 98%). This prevents the CPU from using its full capabilities, which indirectly limits Turbo Boost. Did you follow the other 3 items I suggested?

I did not find such a function in the BIOS and I also cannot limit the processor's operation, there is no such function

PSorry, I finally found a function in the power supply, how much should I limit the maximum processor state in percent?

The Processor max. power state is not in BIOS but in Windows Advanced Power plan settings (see red box), change that to 98%.

DYes, thank you, I have configured everything, but I still hope for a patch because the processor should not jump into turbo boost and heat up to 92 degrees. Thanks again, everything works for now.
