My laptop tends to be heating even if I am not performing any heavy tasks while on charging if I have the fans on low speed by custom, and if i set them to auto it spins very fast even if the laptop has just been turned on and is in low temperature.
And my laptop by default has many background applications turned on automatically until I shut them down manually.
Have searched about many solutions but till now I am not able to fix them. What should I do.

Also, while performing heavy tasks the laptop sometimes slows down and lags, even closes the application on its own or do not respond and is stuck on the same screen or a black screen.

Hi, open the Task Manager-Processes tab and look how many background apps are running, if more than 80 you need to uninstall all bloatware and 3rd-party programs you don't use including Startup apps (Task Manager tab). Not just ending tasks as those will restart again but uninstall in "Add or remove programs" and disable the services in Windows Services (Stop and in Properties change the Startup type to Disabled and Apply). Keep the power adapter plugged in 24/7, don't use a USB-C charger, if your laptop supports PD, and keep the battery 100% charged. In Battery & Power settings change the Power mode to "Best Power Efficiency".
