I wanted to upgrade my Laptop storage capacity which is under warranty and contacted ACER MALL MANGALORE for the same.

First of all they wont pickup your call if they pick up the call they will wind the call saying they will get back to you and never call back.

I called 2 days prior asking for the Upgrade and they suggested i can go with 1 or 2 TB of upgrade. I opted for 2 TB which increases my total laptop storage to 2.5 TB. And i confirmed that i will be travelling solely to upgrade my storage and its very important to my business.

On 1 day prior i called to make confirmation and for price information. I said " I will confirm once i receive the price confirmation. However i want the upgrade at any circumstances. " And they replied with will get back to you in 5 minutes. But i didn't receive any call in 5 minutes and i tried to call at interval of 10 min , 1 hr and 2 hr.

On the day when i called them - The answer was " Hard disk is not ready we can arrange it tommorow" Where as i have to travel in the evening. Upon further investigation i came to know that my laptop maximum supported capacity is 2 TB where as the ACER MALL MANGALORE suggested me the we can increase the storage to 2.5 TB which is unacceptable. And this proves that they are not technically strong.
LAPTOP INFORMATION - Acer Nitro v15 ( In warranty)

I have attached call logs - the calls which are less than 1 minute are missed calls (They didn't pickup the calls)
This is my experience with ACER MALL and I want to lodge a complaint on this. Someone please help me to do so.

I strongly suggest everyone to verify after sales service as its an important thing and with my experience ACER is failed to do so.

Note : This is my personal experience and This post intention is to bring awareness not to spread any kind of hate or wrong information.

That is very unfortunate and very disappointing to read that all this has happened to you Roland99, as Acer support is not like that normally, as this should not happen! But in future you should call Acer Tech Support in your country and ask if you can upgrade the M.2 SSD or RAM modules yourself, to save all these problems and time.

I don't know which exact Nitro V15 you have, but if its the ANV15-51 (Note: that the ANV15-41 has both SSDs @ Gen 4 x4) but the ANV15-51 has an SSD1 boot slot of a PCIe 4x4 lane type and its SSD2 second slot is of a PCIe3 x4 lane so they are different speed slots as the 2nd PCIe3 x4 slot is 50% slower in read/write speeds than the PCIe 4 x4 slot, so be aware of this also. Also this laptop can have a higher than 2TB drive like a 4TB or even the newly available 8TB drives that are available if you need so much capacity for your business, so be aware of that also.

This upgrade is a very simple upgrade to do, as it only involves opening the back panel of the laptop properly and carefully, and as long as you don't break of damage anything the warranty should not be voided. As after opening the back, all you do is put the new PCIe 4 x4 2TB M.2 drive (use a Samsung Pro NVMe as they are the best and most reliable) into your V15 laptops 2nd M.2 slot and then you need to do a clone of the old boot drive, after its finished, take the old M.2 boot drive out and replacing it with the cloned new 2TB M.2 drive into SSD1 slot of the laptop, its a very simple process that you can do yourself. Also make sure that you have all the latest Win-11 24H2 version installed and all windows updates to OS build 26100.2894 and install NVidia GeForce Experience software so that you have the latest NVidia graphics drivers installed. Good luck and hope this helps you out in the future.
