After I tried to use Recovery media on my pc because I was going to sell it. It was supposed to have been tailormade for my computer. It was not. After that failed attempt, things started happening. After that, I decided to download Windows, to make a clean install from a USB, But the touchpad did not work, and the pad did not work anymore, so I used a USB mouse. Started the installation, but the c-drive could not be found. that one got solved

So my remaining problem is how to get the touchpad to work again. I opened bios an looked saw it nowhere, someone told me to press ctrl+s, I think it was, to make it show up, and it did. I was told to change to PS2, but it still does not work. Then I was told to uninstall the touchpad and reinstall but be sure to install, IO Drivers_Intel_30.100.2148.1_W11x64, first. I don't know what is the name of the touchpad in the Device-manager, I ran AIDA, to get a list of components, but saw no touchpad. I'm an old geezer. and this this I can't handle. If someone could help me out I would be very happy. I tried my best to tell you what happened. I hope it's not to confusing. /Jan the Newbie
