Aspire Lite AL15-41: How to enter advanced BIOS mode?

Hello, I purchased a new Aspire laptop, Lite AL15-41 last week. I immediately installed a Linux OS (Fedora — as I've successfully done many times with previous Acer laptops). The installation was successful, but the laptop will not suspend. It will not go to sleep if I manually click the suspend button and it will not go to sleep automatically suspend if I close the lid. The screen goes blank for two seconds and then it immediately wakes up without any movement from the mouse or keyboard. I tried installing another Linux OS (Mint) and had the identical issue, which tells me that it's something with the hardware.

After much searching I saw other Acer-Linux laptop users experiencing the same problem, and they've reported that in the advanced BIOS mode, there is a way to enable sleep/suspend. One user said that in order to access the hidden advanced version of BIOS, you need to press Fn + Tab under BIOS mode. I have tried this many different ways, with no luck. How do I access the advanced BIOS Mode?

The BIOS version on this laptop is 1.07.26RAC1 insyde

Thanks! 😁
