Hi, hopefully it is only the phone plug that got bent and not the laptop audio socket damaged, get a new headset and try if both audio channels work.

Try not plugging it in all the way try barely letting it touch the Inner rim of the input of the jack and see if you get the other side to work. Do this many times while holding it as steady as possible. Try this in as many different lengths as you can. Just the tip of the output touching the inside rim of the input and move it around side to side trying to get a connection.

Then go a tiny, minut bit further Each time and so on. If you do get sound then tape the plug in place.

If this doesn’t work then go to the next step.

When fully plugged in can you move the opposing jack around, back n forth somewhat slightly and forcefully and get any other sound from the other channels, even if it cuts in and out?

if so you’re just having a connection issue due to the bend and nothing is broken.

Wether you get or find any type of connection at all you need to use two pairs of needle nose pliers or a pair of needle noses and a hemostat, a Regular plier and needle nose to simply but slowly bend the arm back into place Having the need nose just above the bend point,as close as you can get it. It needs to be right on the cusp of the top of the bend, right on the line of the bend as to not create another bend.
Try to just bend it a tiny bit as to not break it. After a tiny amount check it to see if you’re getting all channels back,if not bend it a tiny bit again.

To change the audio channels on your PC, follow these steps:

    • Right-click the volume icon in your taskbar and select "Sounds" or "Open Sound settings".
    • In the "Playback" tab, right-click on your headphones and select "Properties".
    • Go to the "Levels" tab and click "Balance". Adjust the left and right audio channels as needed.
