The Acer Veriton X2670G supports M.2 SSDs. The WD_BLACK SN770 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD should be compatible with your Acer Veriton X2670G, as it fits the M.2 2280 form factor and uses the PCIe Gen4 interface

Done get the NVMe 4.0 SSDs unless they are cheaper than the 3.0 versions. Your M.2 interface is PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe. so the 4.0 drives will run at the slower speed of the 3.0 interface.

Just in addition and some more information for you, the Veriton X2670G desktop has a 1x PCIe 3 x4 slot and 4x SATA 3 connectors for drives, the most reliable and quickest M.2 SSD drive that I've used for a few years and can recommend is the Samsung 970 EVO Plus which you should also add an optional heatsink to keep it cool, as in a desktop you are not restricted to what M.2 SSD drive heatsink you can add. Or look at Tom's Hardware SSD Benchmarks Hierarchy 2025 and you can choose your own that your budget can afford of the Gen 3 x4 lane type drives. good luck.
