Acer Aspire Is it normal for my laptop fan to run fast during boot and normal usage??

I recently bought Acer Aspire laptop with an i5 12th Gen 12450 CPU (just a week ago). I've noticed that the fan turns on and runs faster as soon as I boot the system, they start even when it's under a normal workload. Is this behavior normal, or is there something I should check or adjust?

For reference:

During normal usage, temperatures are around 50–60°C.

While gaming (e.g., Valorant), the P-core temperature reaches 100°C.

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi, that is normal fan behavior, it starts on maximum speed when booting with BIOS and as soon as Windows boots the system and software will take over the fan speed control. Fans will also continue to run after shutting down for a while to cool down the system.

Your computer may contain one or more fans to keep the internal components cool. Under normal working conditions, it is normal for a computer to generate a fair amount of heat and become warm to touch depending on usage. Fans that continue to spin quickly and make abnormally loud noises might indicate a problem.Check that the laptop's air vents are not blocked by dust or debris. Proper ventilation is crucial for effective cooling. Monitor Temperature and Fan Speed: Use software tools like HWMonitor or Speed Fan to check if the fan speeds align with the CPU/GPU temperatures.
