What can I do to get my Acer charging, this started when I downloaded Windows 10.

    Hi, replace the battery and/or the power adapter, if your laptop has a battery reset pinhole in the back, insert a pin and press it down till you feel it click and keep pressing for 5 seconds or so. Connect the power adapter (don't use a USB-C charger) and try to charge. When your laptop is a new Windows11 system it is not recommended to downgrade that to Windows10. Make sure you have the latest BIOS version.

    First, perform a power cycle by shutting down the laptop, unplugging the charger, and removing the battery if it's removable. After a few minutes, reinsert the battery, plug in the charger, and power on the laptop. Second, ensure your system is up to date by navigating to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and checking for updates. If there's a recent update causing the issue, you might want to consider uninstalling it temporarily.
