Aspire 7 A715-74G runs like a charm, except it really struggles to boot

Hi everyone ! So long story short, the fans in my almost 5-year old Acer Aspire 7 were running very loud, so I replaced them. By doing so I unscrewed and rescrewed quite a few times the back cover, to the extent that it holds, but the screws are very smooth and hard to remove now, and the back cover is a bit cracked here and there.

The computer runs like a charm. The fans are silent, turn on and ventilate without issue when I play games. I can play Red Dead Redemption 2 at decent graphics and even GTA 5 runs with no issue and good distance. I can go online, watch films, etc. without any problem. And it the sweet silence of my brand new fans.

Except if I turn it off, it really, really struggles to boot. I push the power button many times, hold it in, nothing happens. I drain the battery, replug, push the button, and nothing happens. The only thing that works is to unscrew and rescrew the back cover, and then it boots after having pushed the button a few times, sometimes even on the first try… I read somewhere that it won't turn on if the screws aren't snug, might be the case but I'm not sure. They're snug alright I Think…

I avoid turning it off and instead to reset it I just reboot it from time to time. But sometimes I turn it off accidentally and it's getting harder to get it to boot. I don't think it's long term sustainable and always fear that if I turn it off again it might never turn on again, but I would really like to avoid replacing a computer that still runs incredibly well, just because some kind of wiring in the booting system isn't reacting anymore.

Thank you so much for any advice !
