The output from my headphones sounds suppressed like if some sound suppressing thing is suppressing the background noise just like it does in discord. But, the speakers are fine and normal. I tested my headphones in another device and it worked fine. I have acer nitro V15. I've tested and tweaked every last bit of settings in the sound settings in control panel, Realtek audio console, acer purified voice console, dts:X Ultra - changed every bit of settings that I can. Even contacted Microsoft support. Nothing worked!

It might help if you could reveal the brand & model number of the headphones.

I'm 99.99% sure that this is not a hardware problem as I've tested it on a different device and it works just fine. But still, it's a cheap headphone. I'm not sure about the model no. and stuff. This is the link:

What happens if you detach the microphone?

I don't think you quite get the issue here. Let's say for an example, I want to watch a video or some music. The audio from my headset outputs that video/music in a very suppressed way as I showed from that video. If you haven't watched that video, please do watch as it'll clear everything up. The issue is not related to the microphone at all. And, I don't even use my microphone in my headset because there's no port in the nitro V15 for a mic. Answering your question, well, nothing happens when I detach my microphone because it doesn't exist.

Here are the links to the videos that show the issue I'm facing:

The V15 port is NOT a headphone port. It is a combination headset port that includes the mic. It is compatible with a 4-element TRRS headset plug. Any noise cancelling feature would be built into the headset mic if it actually has this feature. There usually is a small button with an LED inside the ear cup to enable and disable noise cancelling. This is why I asked to disconnect the mic.

However, the V15 headset port impedance specification is ~50 ohms or less. This is typical for a laptop . The headset you have is listed with an impedance of 1300 ohms. If true, this would be far too high and would yield only weak sounds from your laptop under any circumstances. It might be OK for some desktops or game consoles which could have higher impedance capabilities. What other devices did you test your headset on?

Thanks for the clarification. I tested the headset on a mobile phone. The headset worked fine before some time. The headset has different wires for sound and mic and V15 has a single port so, I can only use the sound cable.

    > V15 has a single port> >

Yes BUT as mentioned earlier, it is a HEADSET port, not an old-style HEADPHONE only style port. A headset port includes the mic all in a single port.

It's still hard for me to believe that it worked very loud before on the V15 with a 1300 ohm impedance. But if it did then make sure the plug is fully inserted that its microphone tip, 2 speaker ring segments and ground sleeve are well aligned with the jack's slider contacts. You may have to push down or pull up on the plug to make sure its sleeve is in good contact with the exterior metal part of the jack. Sometimes the ground connection is poor because the sleeve barrel diameter is slightly smaller than 3.5mm.
