I have an acer nitro AN517-55, and I want to change the color of the keyboard using commands in order to match the current primary color on screen (probably I could do it with script).

Changing the keyboard color on your Acer Nitro AN517-55 through terminal commands requires support for command-line control, often provided by software or drivers. Unfortunately, Acer does not officially provide command-line tools for this purpose.

    However, you can try:

    1. NitroSense App: This Acer software allows you to change keyboard colors manually.
    2. Open-Source Tools: Some users report success using tools like OpenRGB, which supports RGB lighting for various devices. Check if your model is compatible.
    3. Custom Scripts: If OpenRGB works, you can script changes to match your screen’s primary color.

Make sure you have the latest drivers installed before attempting any third-party solutions.

Hi @HuTao69 It is not possible, as far as I can tell, but it is possible to start the application from a key:
