That does seem to be a bit long for it to get to the splash screen. I can't see in the video how long the splash screen is up before it starts the OS load though, so I can't tell if it's the display taking so long or the motherboard initialization.

Unlikely, typically a BIOS issue just doesn't work at all, rather than just being slow. When power is applied to the motherboard, the first thing that happens is the CPU is initialized, the bottom portion of memory is initialized and then the CMOS is read to move the BIOS code into memory, then it is executed. One of the earliest things the BIOS code does is initialize the display and put the splash screen up. The first thing the BIOS does that can generate an error is to initialize and test the rest of the memory. With your 5th gen system I can't come up with much that would significantly slow down that process, yet something certainly has. That is why I was asking about the amount of time the splash screen is actually displayed. You might be seeing something where the computer is coming up normally, but the screen itself takes a while before it lights. up, so you don't see the splash screen until late in the POST process.

Hi, after the Acer logo the spinning wheel can take >15 seconds to go the Windows sign-in screen, that is normal, the whole booting process takes 30 seconds from the moment you press the power button till the Windows sign-in screen.

I mean that the screen takes a long time to light up. I have attached a video for you on this link.

Thank you. Is it possible that the problem is in the BIOS?
