Automatically adjust refresh rate on A715-51 and CPU doubts

Hi all, I've recently bought a very nice Acer Aspire 7 A715-51G-50FF. It's got the power hungry i5-1240P and a really cool RTX 3050.

I have two questions: even if the battery, with every single new processor out there, on battery power, lasts forever (at least if it's not a gaming-oriented laptop, as I had an Asus Vivobook 16X with the Ryzen 5 5600H that could last like 6 hours on a single charge and it has similar performances to this i5), in mine cannot go past 2 hours. How is it possible? I would like to know if there is a way to force the CPU to a power saver state when on battery, and then if it's possible to have a script/program that sets automatically the refresh rate to 60Hz on battery and 144Hz on AC power

Hi, comparing power usage of AMD Radeon RX Vega 7 with the 75W RTX 3050 GPU is not realistic, you should leave the power adapter plugged in 24/7 as your battery will be depleted in <1 hour by the RTX 3050. Use Best Power Efficiency in Windows11 23H2 (Power & Battery settings) and you will get better backup or reduce the Maximum Power Processor state when on battery to 95% in Advanced Power settings. Check if your laptop supports Dynamic Refresh Rate (DRR) in Windows to save battery power.

well, the rtx is not actually the problem in this case, because it stays off almost all of the time. Also at the moment of writing this message, the battery is at 87%, the discrete gpu is inactive, and windows gives me a battery life of just over two hours.
