I'm thinking to buy a gaming monitor for my AN515-54. Is Xiaomi G24i good and compatible?

Is Xiaomi G24i good and compatible for AN515-54 (2019)? What connection type should I be looking for? Also will gaming monitors like that have as good as response time/input lag as the original built-in screen or are there technical limitations? I'm asking this because I got scammed by a seller, they sent me a **** laptop screen replacement with low SRGB of 53% and very noticeable response time/input delay as well (model name is AUOAF90/B156HAN08.4).

So I hope whichever external monitor that I get will be at least as fast as the original built-in screen of my AN515-54 which was LGD061E. Help me pls bros I don't wanna get f*cked twice lol.

Also if I plug in external monitor, will it use my dGPU all the time? Which means my laptop fan will never really be idle? And will it impact performance? **** me if it's true, what a **** last few weeks. When finally I've thought buying an external monitor will cure my distress from being scammed..
