i need some help, my ANV15-41 won't boot (black screen, but keyboard lightning up and fans are spinning) after i messed up in advanced bios (fn+tab). i changed one settings that's "3200" to "3600" i can't remember what was that exactly. then the problem occur.

i tried pulling out the cmos battery and laptop battery and press the -+ button to short the cmos hoping that i would reset my bios but it didn't solve the problem.

i hope someone can help me.

Hi, increasing the RAM frequency in BIOS is not recommended if this is not supported by the SODIMMs, as you are unable to reset BIOS the laptop got probably bricked and the only way to fix that is by reprogramming or replacing the EEPROM. I recommend bringing the laptop to Acer Services in your country. The laptop is barely 1 year old so still under warranty and you can also submit a "Repair under warranty" ticket online with Acer Support in your country. wait for a response by e-mail.

Try this: Turn off the laptop, disconnect the charger, and hold the power button for 15 seconds. This will reset all the BIOS settings.

i think the one that i increased is the base cpu frequency as it is 3200mhz , idk if the service center will accept this as i already opened the laptop and i even added one more 16gb ddr5 to make it 32gb and change the ssd to 1tb . i think the warranty is already void. I'll try to bring it to repair shop if they can do something about it. i hope my motherboard is still okay.

@AnhEZ28 i tried that already but still no luck. the screen won't even lightning up. it's like the screen is off. but the fan is spinning and the keyboard is lightning up.

Seems like the BIOS has somehow bugged. Take it to the repair shop and the technician will reprogram the BIOS.
