I needed to format my laptop, after I formatted the audio on the notebook it didn't work, I tried downloading the drivers and installing them, it still didn't work, I also tried uninstalling the drivers and installing them again. It simply doesn't work. When the audio works, the headset microphone does not work.

Hi, if this is a BT headset then the microphone issue is not Realtek driver related but a Windows BT setting you need to adjust. If a wired headset and you plug the audio 3.5mm jack in the laptop audio port you should get a popup "What are you inserting" and select headset, repeat that selection in Realtek Audio Panel and check the microphone setting in Windows and test the headset microphone:

First, try to plug the headset using other device for us to check if the issue is with the computer or the headset itself.

If the mic cannot be detected using other device means it is faulty.

If the headset mic can be detected when you plug it with another device proceed with the steps below.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/fix-microphone-problems-5f230348-106d-bfa4-1db5-336f35576011#:~:text=The%20microphone%20volume%20is%20too,connected%20correctly%20to%20your%20computer.&text=On%20the%20Levels%20tab%20of,as%20needed%2C%20then%20select%20OK

    -Press Windows key + X
    -Go to Device Manager
-Expand the Sound and Video Game Controller
-Look for Audio driver that was installed
    -Right click and Update

    -Go to Control Panel
-In Control Panel, select Large icons from the View by drop down menu.
    -Select Sound.
    -Select the Recording tab
-Right click the Microphone and click Enable.
-Right-click it again and select Set as Default Device.
-Right click Microphone and click Properties.
-Click the Levels tab, then drag the volume slider towards the largest value.
    -Click OK

Restart your computer and test the Microphone.
