Hello Acer Community,

I have an Acer Nitro ANV15-41 with an AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB GPU. Recently, I've noticed that the laptop's temperature exceeds 90°C (94+) even when running low-graphics games. This is quite concerning as think could impact the laptop's performance and longevity. recently updated the bios latest version, and I am not playing games regularly when I brought this played few games, but I think the temperature doesn't go this far and I have a doubt that, is the air vents are in the under portion of the laptop I didn't see much air going outside through it

  • Model: Acer Nitro ANV15-41
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB
  • BIOS Version: V1.12, 24-10-2024

Could anyone suggest the reason for this high temperature issue and possible solutions?

Thank you!

The default Acer thermal paste has probably dried out. Also, make sure the laptop is getting proper airflow. As for the vents, the company designs them in a way that there shouldn't be any issues with airflow unless dust is blocking the air circulation.

For proper air flow do this-

Grab stack of 2-4 books that are equally thick. Slide the spine of a book 2–3 inches (5.1–7.6 cm) under the right side of the laptop. Do the same on the left side of the laptop.

As for main solution if problem still persists, You need to apply new thermal paste, clean fans, and air vents properly. I can guide you if you think you can do it yourself. If not, then contact Acer customer care and ask them to send a technician for laptop maintenance and thermal paste replacement. It would be a good idea to get a high-quality thermal paste like Arctic MX-6 and have the technician apply it for you.

Before buying discuss it with customer care first and act accordingly.
