Hi,

currently I'm using Kingston FURY Renegade NV Me m2 2TB in my Acer Nitro N50 (base board serial DBE1Z110071140428830A1) and I wanted to upgrade to 4TB version of the same SSD maker. After installing the new 4TB SSD I wanted to boot from USB to install clean Windows. I got blue error screen saying PC ran into proble…kernel security check failure.

I tried swapping in and out the old 2TB version and everything worked fine. I don't have other PC to test the new SSD. The 4TB SSD is new from box. I tried creating different USB bootable stick in case the issue was with that, but to no success. I scanned through google but found no help

Any idea what the issue might be? It seems weird that the 2TB version is compatible with my PC but the 4TB is not, but that seems to be the only thing I can come up with

Thanks for any help

Solved it. For anyone who will have same issue, what did it for me was to switch SATA Mode to AHCI in bios settings.
