I got an optional update for firmware Insyde Corp. Then asked me to restart the system, when I noticed in fact is a BIOS update to version 1.10 (Acer Nitro AN17-51 i7 13700H + GTX4060).

The update was just fine, everything is OK, but the latest Bios firmware on support download is still 0.8 firmware.

How is possible to update the BIOS through windows update without a notification in that aspect? Is a very delicate operation to update the BIOS and how win 11 has the latest BIOS in update and that version is not on official site?

Hi, don't worry that update is perfectly safe, there are several firmware devices too other than UEFI/BIOS. If somehow the BIOS update failed you would have seen a popup alert and Windows will offer the update again at a later date. Run the Update Troubleshooter:

Automatically updating BIOS through Windows updates has been an issue for quite some time now. That newer BIOS version will be available on the site after a few weeks since they have to make a separate program.

Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!
