Since installing Windows 11, Version 24H2 the auto screen rotates when in Tablet mode no longer works, is there a fix for this, or will I have to wait until Microsoft gets round to patching the OS. I use this for displaying my music scores and it is vital.

Hi, if you installed version 24H2 with an ISO image I recommend reinstalling version 23H2, note that you need to download the 23H2 ISO file from UUPdump.net as that version is no longer available on Microsoft Support. If version 24H2 was installed automatically by WU just install the twice a month updates as there will be a patch coming your way. You can also submit feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback app in Windows.

No need to jump through those hoops… Just change the setting in Windows. IIRC you have to have move the screen to tablet mode, the go to System; Display settings to enable the feature.

I have downloaded the Windows 11 (repair) but it has not cured the auto rotation problem, BUT I don't think that is the issue. Upon further investigation the problem appears to be that my Acer 3 Spin 14 no loger goes into tablet mode when the device is "spun". The manual keyboard is still operational, which implies the device is not going into tablet mode.

    Any ideas?

Yes, if the keyboard doesn't go silent when rotated past the 180 degree point, then the sensors aren't realizing the rotation has happened. What lapto0 do you have? I can assume it's one of the Spin models, but there have been a lot of different ones over the years. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like SPxxx-xxx-xxxx.
