Huge problem with the GPU, been trying to fix for days to no avail (Predator PT516-51s, RTX 3060)

This is my first time on a forum like this, so please take it easy on me :) Really hoping to find any kind of fix or get at the very least a faint idea of what's going wrong with my laptop (specifically for gaming).

Background: This laptop was purchased back in 2021 by my father, who used it for work (for a short amount of time) before giving it to my sister, who essentially never touched it. Neither of them really intensively used the machine as far as I know. I've been using an old predator model with a GTX 1660 Ti and a 9th gen i5 processor, so I was very happy to take it off her hands.

I tried playing Marvel Rivals on it, and for a couple days everything went excellently until I started crashing - now the game rarely launches, and when it does I get very weird graphical glitches in the menu before it crashes again. I tested this with other games, and it seems to me that any game with more modern graphics (Fortnite, Doom Eternal, Halo Infinite) either crash, experience the same strange graphical glitches, or both (if this post gets traction I'm more than happy to upload a video of what I mean). I have no idea why it would be working fine then suddenly stop. Less graphically demanding games like Phasmophobia and TF2 work perfectly fine.

I have tried many fixes I saw online, including a clean install of graphics drivers using DDU, factory resetting the computer, using older graphics drivers, applying any kind of update I can find, disabling integrated graphics, clearing shader caches, etc. I just would really love to know what's going on, and any kind of help is greatly appreciated.

The Predator Triton PT516-52s is a high end Acer laptop and it should not be crashing, and as your laptop has all the Win-11 24 H2 updates and the bios is up to date to the last version 1.07, also check and make sure that you have the latest OS build 26100.2605 and the latest RTX3060 Win-11 NVidia GeForce Game Ready Driver version 566.36 | WHQL is installed and the new GeForce Experience App is installed and play all the included games under that software also.

What I think that is happening is that and due to this laptop that wasn't being used consistently for a while its developed corrupt OS files and the way to fix these is to do the following scans like SFC /DISIM and CHKDSK, have a look here for a good guide on these scans. And if this doesn't work then do a clean install of Win-11 24H2 and all its updates to OS build 26100.2605, as that will fix these BSODs and game crashes. But remember that with the gaming, make sure that the games are not what is crashing the system as most of the time that is a reason for the BSODs also. Good luck and hope this gives you a guide of how to tackle these problems of this high end laptop that should operate 100% if its setup properly and it doesn't have any hardware problems.
