I have a samsung 990 pro 1TB SSD and when i put it in my Acer Aspire 5 A514-54 it says that there is no boot. How can i fix this and is this SSD compatible with this laptop? If not, what can I buy like the for-example Samsung 890 1tb?

Hi, the 990Pro SSD should work unless the drive is bad, did you clone the original boot drive? Things to check with another PC:
Check GPT Partition: Make sure the SSD is partitioned using GPT. You can use the Disk Management tool in Windows to verify this.
Format EFI System Partition (ESP): Ensure the EFI System Partition is formatted as FAT32. This partition should be at least 100 MB.
Set Boot Order: Enter the BIOS/UEFI settings and make sure the SSD is set as the primary boot device.
Enable UEFI Boot Mode: Ensure that UEFI boot mode is enabled in the BIOS/UEFI settings.
Reinstall Windows: If the above steps don't work, you might need to reinstall Windows. During the installation, make sure to delete all partitions on the SSD and let Windows create the necessary partitions.
